"Waking up is the biggest commitment."
"I wrote it all down somewhere."
"Was young and foolish. Still foolish."
"Fact is scarce during self comtemplation."
These are all six word memoirs about life that were on the Smithmag website. I read memoirs about several different subjects, ranging from questions to life and several more categories. I found the memoirs about life tend to have the greatest emotional value because they are not just little updates on a current life. People have posted things on this website that express their deapest emotion and have also posted things that are superficial and may not have any importance to speific people. Some people post obscene things that are also rather comical rather than something that is deep and slightly depressing. Instead of picking some of the more serious memoirs, I selected ones that speak more to character and self-enlightenment.
Waking up is the biggest commitment is possibly one of the most true statements ever made. The simple meaning behind the phrase is just that you can't possibly start anything that you are committed to without first waking up to do so. For me, I know that this is true because there are many days when I wish I could just curl back into my bed and lay there all day to avoid doing the things that I know I have to do.
