Welcome! Welcome!

Hi-ya everybody!  Welcome to the Awesome-sauce Writing blog.  This is a blog where the class work for Creative Writing will be posted on the fantastical interwebs for all the world to see.  To get started, I will give you a little bit of information about myself.

I am a swimmer.  That is basically my life summed up by one word.  I have won 6 Section V championship titles; 3 Individual wins and 3 Relay wins.  I have been selected to the All-Greater Rochester Team three years in a row, selected to the 1st Team All-County 4 years in a row, awarded Most Improved Player as well as Most Valuable Player two years in a row and have been elected as Team Captain two years in a row.  Pretty much all of my time and effort is spent practicing in the water.  Aside for swimming, there are many other things that I do.  I am an Eagle Scout, along with my three older brothers, and I am still active in my Troop.  I have climbed 11 of the High Peaks in the Adirondack Mountains, been dropped off by sea-plane on Upper-Sargeant Lake for 12 days and have gone to Camp Massawepie for three years.  I used to play baseball until sophomore year in high school when I was on the All-Star team for 4 straight years for Little League.  That is all that I will share for now.

There is much more to my life than just those three things.  However, because I am blogging for my Creative Writing class, I will share with you what I hope to gain as a writer in this class.  For as long as I have been able to write I have somewhat struggled to fully contain my ideas in my writing and articulate everything that I want to say in an intelligent and coherent manner.  So what I am hoping that all this blogging business will help the flow of my ideas to remain constant and that I will be able to improvements in each and everyone of my posts.  I also need help in finding the right words to use for my writing.  Like I said, I want my writing to sound intelligent so having an abundance of words to draw upon that could spice up my writing would allow me to have a comfortable basis for making my work intelligent and interesting.

Tah-Tah for now everyone!
